Established February,2024
Publicly released March,2024
Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, we have formulated an action plan for the purpose of establishing an employment environment that enables employees to balance work with childcare, and establishing diverse working conditions, including for employees who are not raising children.
Three years from March 1, 2024 to February 28, 2027
Goal 1:
Establish an environment that makes it easy for employees, regardless of gender, to take childcare leave.
Measures
・Give a thorough explanation of the system to all eligible employees on an individual basis.
・Make efforts to educate employees about the revised childcare leave system by updating the Handbook for Supporting a Healthy Work-Life Balance, which informs employees about the outline of the revised childcare leave system and the policy on promoting the use of childcare leave.
Goal 2:
Continue to consider measures for flexible work arrangements.
Measures
・Continue to examine systems to enhance flexible work styles, such as the introduction of paid leave by the hour, in addition to the use of telecommuting and shift work systems.
Goal 3:
Continue measures aimed at reducing overtime hours and increasing the percentage of paid leave taken.
Measures
Continue implementing “no overtime days.”
Calculate and disclose average hours of overtime every month in each division, and provide guidance, including improvements to operating efficiency, to reduce long working hours.
